A multi-faith environmental network

The Creation Care Coalition of Centre County will integrate, motivate, and empower faith groups: to raise awareness about climate change in their communities, to reduce regional contributions to climate change, and to raise an ethical voice in local, regional, state, national, and global discusions about climate change and environmental policies.

Our growing coalition includes around fifteen congregations in the State College area. We meet regularly to coordinate activities, to hear presentations from local and regional groups and individuals working in this field, and to share ideas about organizing and making effective the committees in our own congregations that focus on climate change and the environment.  We invite all interested religious communities to join us in this important work.

To learn more about our group or to have your religious community join the coalition, please write to Sylvia Neely at SNeely@psu.edu.
