Bike trip to Washington

Page history last edited by GC Women's Intercultural Book Groups 11 years, 11 months ago

Three PA IPL members bike to Washington to raise awareness about climate change

On April 27, PA Interfaith Power & Light supporters sent off cyclists Jon Brockopp and Kris Klotz from State College and Peter Dugas from Indiana, PA on a 200-mile, 4-day trek from State College to Washington  DC. Along the way they stopped at congregations, colleges and community centers to talk about responding to climate change as a moral issue; energy efficiency; and alternative transportation, like riding bikes.

Check out paipl.org for blogs covering their trip.

So far, the riders have raised over $1,300 for PA IPL; please support them with your donation. It’s easy – just click on the DONATE button at paipl.org, or send a check to 205 Pasquerilla Spiritual Center, University Park, PA 16802. 100% of your donation goes to programs, and due to a generous grant from national IPL, we can match your donation, dollar for dollar.
